Picnic with Grands

Tuesday, September 16th

You are invited to celebrate Grandparent’s Day with a picnic with your grands at CES! We are very excited and want the day to be special for you and your grand!

The safety of students and staff is our main priority, because of this I wanted to share with you our procedures for visitors. All visitors must be checked into the building through the upstairs car rider line doors. If you do not have a current background check on file, you must bring your driver’s license to be processed through Guardian Gate. With many guests expected the checking in process may be lengthy. Honoring your time with grands is important to us, so we are offering an option to pre-register. If you do not have a background check on file, please consider completing one or coming to the school with your driver’s license prior to Tuesday, 9/16 to pre-register for the event. The cost of a background check is $10 and must be turned in by Monday, 9/8 so they are processed in time for the event. If you need assistance, please call the office at 270-664-2227.

On Tuesday, grandparents should arrive 15 minutes prior to their student’s assigned lunch time. You may bring picnic blankets or lawn chairs for your picnic outside. School lunch will be provided to all students and adults can also purchase a meal. The cost of an adult meal is $4.85. PTA will provide a treat for all students and grandparents! The Book Fair will also be set up in the library if you would like to take your grand!

Please RSVP and indicate if you will be purchasing a school lunch by Monday, 9/8.
